I have around 200 such FLACs, and they are all processed correctly in my main player (Vox on OSX), but not on Deadbeef. Yes, the CUE file is the important thing. If you don't have one for a given set of files you can use ImgBurn to make one. If it's embedded (and ImgBurn supports the file type as an image - i.e. can extract the embedded CUE from the audio file)), you can just try and load/burn the audio file directly as if it were an image.Nov 21, 2013 · Hi, I have some albums as whole FLAC files with embedded cuesheets. Im using foobar2000 on a couple different w7 laptops. One is foobar2000 v 1.3.3 and one is v 1.3.7 and having a problem with reading .cue files. Some of my .flac files are single files with an entire CD image and I have one .cue file for each one.

So make sure you have the rip's original .cue sheet and .log (EAC or CUERipper format) available. Keeping the original .cue ensures that you don't lose the track 01 pregap length. If you rip to separate tracks without a .cue sheet, and without saving HTOA to a separate file,... To rip a CD to flac, simply enter ripflac <basename> (where basename is used as the base name of the FLAC file you will be creating. The CD in the drive will be ripped, and a FLAC file created containing an embedded CUE sheet. ripflac takes an optional final parameter for the path to the CD drive, which defaults to /dev/cdrom.
